Communication. Webster defines communication by “a technique for expressing ideas effectively”, and ”a process by which information is exchanged between individuals through a common system of symbols, signs, or behavior”. Communication is very important to give information, details and thoughts. Communication is important to keep relationships and be healthy in them. Communication is the way World Racers stay sane. Communication gives us a break from our craziness to love on the people back and home and get encouragements from loved ones. It gives us a way to tell you what I am doing on the mission field and tell all my friends and family that I am safe. It is a way of relaxation and a very necessary piece of home.
Communication is only possible through computers or any electronic device with internet due to no telephones being available. Well, my current story is I travelled for ten days, went through three different time zones in which the last one was thirteen hours. After this thirteen hour difference I was extremely tired and fell asleep on a bus. At this time I dropped my Ipod on the bus while sleeping, and left with it still on there. Therefore, I no longer have an ipod to communicate with those back at home when my computer is unavailable.
Well, that would be fine if I had a computer, but I no longer have that either. My computer’s battery died for good and I would have had to buy one from the manufacturer in which case I can’t because I’d have to send it to Asia. Well, even if I could I still wouldn’t have a computer because the Windows decided to stop working as well which means it won't even turn on anymore even when it's plugged into the wall.
Within three days I lost my Ipod and computer. Within 10 days I’ve had no time to relax or sleep or have Jesus time. Within this time I have lost it. I’ve cried so much and have felt depressed. The point is, I would be a lot more sane if I could keep talking with my friends, family and keep blogging by having a computer. I don’t have the money for this. You all have blessed me SO MUCH by providing my World Race money. I need just one more favor.
Please act as though my World Race account is now my actual bank account. Please find a Bank of America and put money into my account for me to buy a computer. Simply tell them to put the money into Tressa Clay’s account in which case I opened up the account in Kansas City, so it should either have me under Kansas City Mo or Republic Mo.
Please help me stay sane. I honestly don’t know if I can finish the next 8 months without this communication with my friends and family. Thank you for your time and I love you all.
