I’m in Africa!! A new continent, new culture, new language, new weather, new team. This month there are a total of three teams staying were I am at for the month. We are all living at the Adventures in Missions base and are together in varied ministries. One group is going to help in Hope House to do hospice work. Another group is partnering with Carepoints as teacher’s aids for preschool-early primary school aged children. My group is the “agriculture group”, we will, hopefully, be helping a local man out with planting. Planting what, where, when, or how I have no answer for yet due to the weather and vehicle complications. For now we have done some landscaping jobs around the base, decorated a Carepoint for a singing competition, and spent time playing with children at a few Carepoints.

I have so enjoyed getting to know the people on my team; hearing their testimonies, spending time laughing together, and learning how to navigate the new team dynamics. Want to guess our new team’s name? Intrepidus. And, no, that is no coincidence. Checkout all the amazing members of team Intrepidus down on the left hand side of this page! Add them to your prayers and consider donating to support those who still need help in reaching their fundraising goal! $1,111, $111 or even just $11 toward #11n11 on November the 11th would be a blessing. <—-think about it.
