1 year ago I left the world that I knew behind for an adventure that has continued to this day. An adventure that has changed my life, wrecked me for the ordinary and opened me up to depths of intimacy, the rarity of integrity, the beauty of worship and the undeserved promise for Jesus freaks.

My life is changed. Never to be the same again!

I am blessed to have this life and even more blessed to know what’s waiting.

I am an heir and I have an eternal inheritance.

I have learned that my testimony carries with it an anointing and my tears have healing balm for a hurting world.

It was only after I observing the hearts of listeners crack at the sound of my pain and connect with the hurt in my Spirit and the Jesus who saves, that I began to acknowledge the true power of a dark moment.

You see, it’s not only me that benefits from a season of trying times, but those who hear how He delivered me gain freedom from a past, confidence in today and faith for tomorrow.

We all need more faith.

More faith to believe that these times good or bad, will pass. And faith to know that whatever comes we are not only equipped for it, but are capable of assisting in equipping others as we share our war stories, reveal our wounds and ask for forgiveness.

Can you imagine the testimony Jonah would have after sharing His heart with others after coming out of the belly of the whale? Or Jacob’s pure joy and pain while sharing His desperation for a blessing?

Have we ever been so blessed?

Do we know the blessing of being a blessing?

It’s when we share who we are and how He loves us enough to take us through such pain, that we connect with the heart of those who are in a storm, coming out of a storm or going into a storm. Those who have been through something have the anointing to speak to others about what’s waiting on the other side.

There will always be rain. But on the other side of that is sun shine. The sun will shine again.  So until the sun begins to shine, learn to dance in the rain and enjoy the season for what it brings.

Do you believe it?

Do you have faith to know that regardless of what you’re going through or what others say about you, or even what you say about yourself, where you are in life is never to Big for My God and Your God to deliver you from?

His unchanging hand waits and I’m going after it. Join me on a journey that has and will continue to be an adventure.

Act 3:6  Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
