Matthew 9:35-38 The Message
Then Jesus made a circuit of all the towns and villages. He taught in their meeting places, reported kingdom news, and healed their diseased bodies, healed their bruised and hurt lives. When he looked out over the crowds, his heart broke. So confused and aimless they were, like sheep with no shepherd. "What a huge harvest!" he said to his disciples. "How few workers! On your knees and pray for harvest hands!"
I have decided to call my journey on The World Race, "The Harvest." To me, it means that I'm ready and willing to live out the scripture above, Matthew 9:35-38. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Well, I don't know about you, but I'm ready to WORK. The World Race is an 11 month mission trip to 11 countries around the world. During this time my team and I will meet the needs of the hurting and " the least of these."
