BE A SERVANT…LOVE LIKE CHRIST…WASH FEET
Ohhhh guyyssss God is sooooooooooooooo gooooooooooood! This is my second full day here in El Salvador and I am abosuletly blessed! The country…the people… are amazingly beautiful! My team really wants to find the true meaning of being a servant. Well, these people are teaching us the way. All they want to do is serve us. They cook…clean… anything at all to make it easy…better..safer for us. From the moment we arrived here it has been all smiles…hugs…hand shakes. They are so embracing…just as Christ embraces you! The first two nights here we slept in a building next to the church. It had plenty of space…and a shower. Had a bed there when we arrived there along with some chairs to sit on… well.. I promise you… everytime we walked back in the building there was more beds… more food..everything. Just so we were more comfortable. People ended up giving up their bunk beds..driving to us… and fixing them up for us in our rooms. These people of God are sooooo amazing. All they want is for us to have a good time. Always taking care of us. They take the work load. Its so crazy. We came to serve them, but they are serving us. Amen. We are really seeing the love of God through His body! Today, the pastor asked for us to move to his house… we told him that we were okay where we were, but no, he really wanted what was best for us. And his house was better since it is in a private community, so all that food…beds…everything… These people had to move them out… and bring them here.. and set it all up again, but they did not complain.. They wanted to…they were so happy to do anything that would be better for us! And a side note we have wifi here so I can keep in touch with you guys! Guys God is here…God is moving in their hearts…they are so passionate! And its so crazy … we sang for them today and they said we need to worship like we do , but in my head I was like are you crazy I want to worship like yall! They are so passionate for the Lord, yet they can see how much we reeally love our Pappa! Amen ! We will be involved with youth ministry! Today at church I will be sharing my testimony to the church body! Amen! There is no language barrier! My teammate Helena and a man here named Oscar have been translating for us! AMEN! CHRIST IS THE LORD OF ALL NATIOINS! Its so good here guys! We are so blessed! God has big plans for the people of El Salvador! Keep praying for us! I will post some pics on here and my facebook tonight since Ill be getting ready for church soon! We are having an amazing time! So excited for the things to come here! Love yall so much!
