I am excited to announce that I have raised 9,500 of 15,500 for this year. I am so thankful and humbled by the way family and friends have come around to support me!
I wanted to give an update on what I have been doing in Gainesville since I have been here!
I am a Squad Mentor for The World Race.
I’m in charge of driving the spiritual formation process and discipleship of all of the world racers on the squad. I do that in the following ways:
– Training & leading the squad & team leaders
– Teaching on topics like feedback, prayer, celebration, vulnerability, leadership
– Facilitating team debriefs & conflict management
– Casting vision for the squad’s growth
I also handle the emergency situations while teams are on the field and help navigate host relations!
One other aspect of the job that I love is I get to facilitate the Center for Global Action and teach the Leadership Development Track. We train and disciple leaders that will turn around and go back on the field to lead Squads.
I am currently mentoring two Squads.
Each Squad has anywhere between 40 and 50 people, and we send out about 16 squads a year, around 700 missionaries that visit 11 countries over the course of 11 months.
Please consider partnering with me if The Lord has put it on your heart to give. I would be incredibly grateful for any amount!
