One of the questions that I heard the most at training camp was “who will be on my team?”
For anyone who is not familiar with the World Race vocabulary (like I wasn’t before the training camp), the “squad” is the larger group of people (our “S” Squad has around 60-65 people). The “team” is 6-8 people who you will travel the world with during the 11 months. You may work with other teams from your squad occasionally.

Mary, our compassionate leader
Lindsay, our passionate missionary
Rebecca, our loving nurse
Phil, our encouraging friend
Dex, our wise brother
Why “Team Arrow” as our name?
Each of us had a reason that we wanted this team name. My reason is that an arrow (like Christianity) has a point- it can be used for offense or defense. It needs to be shot on target for it to be effective- it isn’t effective if it goes too far off course.
