While in Uganda, we were given an opportunity to speak to a local high school. The administrators decided to break them into two groups: young men and young women. Mary, Cara, and Rebecca talked to the young women. Addie, Angela, and I talked to the young men. Christina was sick that day so she was unable to join us.
Addie, Angela, and I were asked questions about drinking alcohol, sex, homosexuality, our skin color, and lust. We used scripture and our own life experiences to talk about each topic. We also encouraged the young men to be Godly and respectable men.
We have so many distractions today that take our view off God. We encouraged them to keep God first in their lives. We also warned them of the dangers of sin and how it can spiral out of control into addiction.
