While we were in Uganda, one of our last ministry days, we went to the rock or stone quarry.  The workers there break pieces of rock apart to be used in construction.  The bigger their pile of small rocks, the more they will be paid.

We talked and prayed for the workers.  The workers were both male and female.  Young moms would have their small children there with them since they could not afford child care.

Christina and I were paired together.  We were able to share about Jesus to many different people.  We also prayed for healing for many.  The economy is tough so people are trying to find ways to buy food.  We were glad that we could bring Jesus to an otherwise monotonous day for these workers.
