If you read my article “Slow Down,” then you know that I was thinking God was wanting me to try to slow down and rely on my teammates. This morning I went to the doctor to make sure that my ankle was sprained and not broken. The good news is that it is only a sprain. The bad news is that I am supposed to rest it for 3 days!
I am currently typing this in an internet cafe with my leg elevated to try to keep the swelling down. I was not able to go today withe my teammates since we would have to walk to the bus to go to our ministry sight. Ashley was going to be preaching her first sermon so I am sad to miss that. However, I know that God wants me to rest for a reason! It has been hard to sit still when I know the others are doing ministry. Please pray for my healing and for me to rest in God even more the next few days! Please also pray for my team as they continue our ministry.
