Team W.O.W. and Team Rush were able to ride the elephants at the Maeaa Elephant Camp in Chiang Mai yesterday. Cara and I decided to ride one together. As we were getting on, we had to step up really high since we had a very tall elephant. They took us up and down hills. It was very impressive to see how they handled themselves since they are quite large. We definitely enjoyed the ride and were very glad that we had experienced it.
After our elephant ride, the camp put on a show where the elephants showcase their talents. The elephants were able to score goals with soccer balls. They were able to play basketball. They were able to do silly antics as well. My favorite talent was when they painted. They were able to make some paintings that are far better than anything I could do (although I mostly do stick figures so that may not be saying much).
