I would take deep breaths of the not so fresh air, but just indulge in the fact that I was in Phnom Penh Cambodia, in a tok tok, living an amazing life, blessed. Our time in the tok tok was very fun,
by the end of Cambodia we would see our classmates around town and wave to them, we’d get lots of smiles and laughs from people passing by. We saw the city, and had great times with our driver. We used him everyday, he was the sweetest man. He didn’t speak much English, but he was a fun part of our time in Cambodia. I will miss him and his tok tok. He was safe and courteous to the people around, which is rare on the ridiculously busy streets of Cambodia. The streets are full of motorbikes, cars, bicycles and people.
Each morning we had off to spend with God, rest, or check out the local markets. Each night, I got into that tok tok after super fun English class, soccer or youth group and stated, ahh… my favorite time of day. A restful time with God.
I heart Cambodia.
Psalm 4:8: I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
