What is the ministry of Jubilee entail?
These women are wonderful children of God who are in need of a lot of love and affection. They have been abandoned and left by their families. Some have cognitive delays, some have emotional delays and some have both. These delays most likely stem from their previous emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. Most have lived on the street at some point and have had to fend for themselves. Some have been forgotten by others, and all are in need of seeing God’s love shine unto them, what a joy to help bring that with. They love getting attention (who doesn’t) the difference is they need attention because they do not get it anywhere else, and they have not had it.
Most are unable to live independently and need assistance with cooking, cleaning, hygiene and daily living skills. Some are high functioning and are able to look out for some of the girls that live there. Some are very hard workers and most of them want to find a job, which would help empower them. Some speak English well and others do not speak at all.
The types of ministry included, painting nails, doing hair, playing sports, sidewalk chalk, making bracelets, and playing cards and table games. We sang Christian songs, and taught bible stories. Some of the girls love to sing! We
also taught English and learned some Romanian.
(we were sword fighting and he obviously won! Lol)
No matter what we are doing, we are trying to tell people what we are doing and make relationships wherever God places our feet. We are trying to go deeper in our own faith- for if our faith is not deep enough and if we do not believe that the impossible can happen, it will stunt our ability to completely surrender to God and allow miracles to happen.

So we ask in faith for God to uplift these women and we have faith that God will- we get tired but God is strong. We don’t always understand why certain people have certain problems- we often forget how blessed we are to have a God so amazing. It’s just hard when you see others with such difficulties however…
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:28-31)”
Ahh.. what an amazing God. <3
