So as you guys know, I’ve packed up my life into a backpack for 11 months to follow our wonderful Savior and Lord! I’m currently still in Romania doing ministry with villages and children. A normal Tuesday in the states would be working, going to kickboxing, going to my sisters to watch Biggest Loser and helping get Grayson ready for bed and putting him to sleep. Oh how you take things like that for granted when you’re home! I thought of them a lot last night. Miss you guys!
This Tuesday was amazing as well of course!! We went to a village and worshiped the Lord… ahh worshiping on more days than just Sunday! I love it!!! Our team sang songs for the church, we played with the kids and a girl from the “L” squad gave the sermon. I have not done that… yet J I will let you know when I do.
We provided everyone who went to church with sandwiches, juice and dessert for the children and families.
So much fun to just be around people of another culture, it’s been five years since my last mission trip which is far too long. The children were dressed in clothes we would deem as inappropriate, but they were just happy to have something to wear.
Clothes are huge for me, I couldn’t believe what I had left after packing up a years worth of clothing to wear. I have so many clothes! It’s terrible, and they are just happy to have something to wear.
The day before we were in a gypsy village and it was so much fun! We began teaching them to jump rope by demonstrating.
It’s always fun to find a way to communicate J we began to count in English while they were jumping and have them teach us Romanian counting and us teach them English counting.
Showing emotion is huge because we cannot express our excitement through words, so we have to be over the top excited when they jump really well! I was lucky to have Carin by my side to do this as she is always able to be excited and filled with joy!
We had a bible story with them, and we personally prayed over some of the mothers and children who were suffering from illness. They love love love the Lord and truly believe they can be healed by Him… which they of course CAN!
I was all around filled with joy to help this village and this people and I really feel the Holy Spirit at work with our team!
Still have not met with the ministry Jubilee yet because God has called us other places for now which is amazing. Our team discusses fluidity often, and just flowing with God and His plan for us. A paraphrase from camp and our team, being flexible implies you can still be broken, being fluid implies you can adapt to any shape and not be broken J can’t wait to tell you more! I wish I could write it all!

Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
