Well, the first foster family has arrived. The woman and her three sons (disregard the “All Girl” shirt) arrived in the afternoon on Saturday, and have been acclimating themselves to the area. We were able to supply them with enough groceries for the month, but there are some other basic needs that they may require along the way–mats, clothes, school fees, etc. Please pray for wisdom as we sort out the details and try to discern whether this is a good fit and/or long-term solution. Please pray for the health of the boys–particularly the eldest (in the orange). He is the most malnourished. Long-term, we need to find a way to get these boys enrolled in school, so that is another bridge we will need to cross. Thank you for your ongoing prayers regarding this family.
