Well, we have made it safely to Nairobi. We arrived two nights ago, and not even ten minutes from the airport we saw around half a dozen zebra and a giraffe. It’s good to be back in Africa!

We are currently in temporary housing and hope to move into our more permanent place in Nairobi tomorrow. Please keep that in prayer. With the twenty-five of us staying here, we have gotten in trouble numerous times for nearly breaking the sound barrier. Tonight I received a phone call threatening to throw us out the gate if we got loud one more time. Eek!

Today we spent most of the day in Kibera slum. We first did a tour with the whole team and then split into four groups to do a sort of “get to know people in Kibera” scavenger hunt. I believe it was pretty effective, and I feel somewhat acclimated to the area now. I am excited to see how God uses us there.

That’s all I have the time for right now, but when I have a more solid opportunity to get on the internet I’ll post something more substantial..and hopefully some photos as well.
