I thought I’d spend some time telling you all what I could use prayer for in this season home. I am here, in Pennsylvania, until sometime around mid June, at which point I will head south. I will have some time of training in Gainesville, Georgia with my new team in preparation for Ireland, before we fly out the 24th.
The one major difference about my re-entry this time is that there’s a certain special someone still overseas. That makes things challenging because now I have all this time on my hands, and want to catch up, but he is still very much involved in his own ministry with the World Race. Nick and his squad will be in Southeast Asia until June, when they will head to Southern Africa. Please continue to pray for him and his team. Pray for their health and safety as well as the effectiveness of the Lord’s ministry through them. Also, pray for my sanity while we’re apart. Hah! It has been over four months since we have seen each other.
During these weeks that I am home, I really want to use my time wisely. I am still feeling really drained after Kenya, and want to make sure I am refreshed and ready to go for Ireland. With that said, I (with some of my leadership from AIM) decided it would probably be in everyone’s best interest for me not to work. So, please pray that I will actually put my time to good use and not just be lazy. Pray that I will prioritize well, and get the things accomplished that will be most fruitful.
Through my time in Kenya, I remained busy to the point of over-looking some of my [nearer] future needs. So here it is. I am at about one third of my total need for my time in Ireland and Swaziland. In addition, I still have to purchase insurance and a flight down to Atlanta. Scary…but at this time it’s only a one-way, seeing as I’m not sure exactly when I’ll be coming home after Swaziland. It’s looking like some time in December, though. So, please lift up my finances. I am so grateful to those of you that have contributed financially or prayed for me in this area. I am specifically looking for individuals to pledge monthly support since I need to have a steady flow of $1502 per month.
And lastly, pray for patience. I am a planner, but after Swaziland, I’m not sure what things will be looking like. I know that is still months away but I have a tendency to get ahead of myself. Pray that I will trust God to reveal His will for me in His timing. Thank you all in advance for your encouragement and prayers. You have no idea how much I really do appreciate you covering me and my adventures in seeking Kingdom.
