I guess it’s been a little while since I’ve let you know what I’ve been up to. Part of that just came down to lack of inspiration to blog.
The week following the departure of the World Race teams, I spent solidly working on a Vision Trip video. I’ve since completed it, but because of poor internet, I have no idea when I will actually have it uploaded.
On the first of the month, I moved out of the lodge I had been staying at, and into the home of Pastor Gift’s family. He’s pretty much the big squeeze when it comes to the Nsoko part of AIM. At any rate, I was going to be moving into the team house that sits on the same property, but he suggested that I stay with them until the next team comes…so that I’m not alone.
It has been nice to be in a house with other people, but I tell you, it gives me a whole new perspective on child-rearing. Man, they are a lot of work, but I’ve particularly taken to the youngest–Okuhle. She is always running up to me with her arms up in the air waiting for me to lift her off the ground. Which may be the closest thing I’ve had to a regular workout in quite a while.
