A little over a week ago, I had the pleasure of witnessing more than two hundred boxes of a rice delivered and unloaded at the main Care Point here in Nsoko–Richmond/G-42. The total came to more than 7000 pounds of a rice and soy protein mixture. Early last week, these boxes were dispersed among the eight Care Points, enabling hundreds of children to eat for weeks. It came at the perfect time, too, as many of the Care Points had already or were about to run out of food.
