It costs money to RECEIVE packages from the USA, no matter what the person paid to send it. The best way to receive care packages is for the people in the USA to
send things in small padded envelopes.  Care packages sent in boxes however
can be very costly to pick up, depending on the size, weight, and
contents of the package, so it’s best not to send those.  Letters and post cards cost nothing to
receive, thus these are best!  Packages typically take 1-2 weeks to get
to Kenya from the Unites States Postal Service…

Lastly, if you would have any desire to call me, you can do so by using an international calling card or Skype (I encourage this method). You can download Skype for free at skype.com. It does cost to call my cell phone, but it’s typically the cheapest method. In order to call, you will need to set up a “skype out” account using a credit card. My cell phone number is +254 (Kenya’s country code) and 714-573-068. Love and miss you all.
