Sah-wah-dee and hello from Chiang Mai! One week ago, my team arrived in Thailand after a crazy 48 hours of travel. We are staying at Zion Hostel in the heart of the city, and absolutely loving it. All the pad-Thai, riding on tuk-tuks, and walking through the endless night bazaars. The people here are some of the kindest, and even though the language barrier can be difficult everyone here is always smiling (and that is like a universal language in itself:)

The first few days here I really had to adjust my mindset that ministry is not something I go do but it’s the way I live and how my actions should reflect Christ. One of the highlights so far has definitely been prayer walking. One of our first days here we walked through the temples in Chiang Mai and through a red lght dstrct, praying words of truth and freedom over these places. This was a humbling experience because it made me realize how great the power of the Holy Spirit is as I felt the oppression in some of these places.

The past few days we have been working in Agape House, which is an orphanage ministry that takes in women and children. Many of these children have HIV. The first day there, we got to spend a bit of time with the adorable children. They were so joy-filled and it was so fun to be able to love them and spend a few moments with them. I hope we will be able to do that more. The past few days we have been painting and organizing some of the buildings at the orphanage to make it a nicer place to stay for the women and children here. They were a very long few days to be honest, but still a lot of fun. I am excited to see how God will continue to work in this place.
