–I just recently came back from Saipan, where I worked for two years as a Literature, Grammar, and History teacher.

— I love reading books. Sometimes I read them like I am sipping English tea, and sometimes I read like I’m being allowed air after a long time of holding my breath.

–I also love movies, theater, and radio theater. I love good stories in all their forms!

–I am an American and a Brazilian Citizen. My Grandparents were missionaries in Brazil, so my dad was born there.

–I am intimidated with keeping a blog, especially before the trip. I’ve never really done one before, and it is hard for me to get started, ha ha

–I love to write, but English grammar vexes me 🙂

–I have a problem with “favorite” sections, so I usually leave them blank. Like most human beings, I appreciate and love many things at many different times!

–I love to sing, and I will do it constantly, whether under my breath or loud and proud!

–I’m finding out one of the favorite places to worship and talk to God is when I’m alone in my car.

–I collect music boxes.

–I have a small collection of swords from some stories I really love; Brave heart, The Lord of the Rings, King Arthur, and the Princess Bride.

–I have had some health issues since I was ten years old, and this past year has been especially rough in that respect.

–I love to travel and be immersed in different cultures.

–I love being a student! I will always love to learn new things, whether it be about the present or history.

–I love spending time with my young nephews, and sometimes I go through withdraws when I don’t see them for more than a week. 🙂

–I gave my life to Jesus when I was a little girl, but my relationship with Him keeps growing in every new stage of my life!

–The World Race is something I have always wanted to do! To travel to different countries and cultures, to preach the gospel, and to be His hands and feet. I just didn’t know that it could be done like this! I am so grateful for this beautiful challenge and adventure!
