Hi friends! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying life to the fullest! I wanted to share with you a few updates about fundraising, the race and other fun things taking place. I have not received an official launch day, but I do know that my squad departs during the first week of January 2017!
As you can see, the first country we start off in is Uganda! We will also do our training camp together as a squad for the first week to 2 weeks when we arrive. The name of my route is called Fusion. Adventures in Missions describes my World Race route as “Fusion will only have the frame of their route provided, with the specifics being filled in by God as He leads and uses the unique giftings of each racer. The journey is designed so that the racers can become actively-listening, dirty-footed disciples of Christ while functioning as a unit that is seeking His Kingdom.” So unlike other World Race routes, we do not have partnerships set up in the countries where we will be traveling to. We will seek God together as a squad and see where He wants us to serve. Because of this, if you have connections to any nonprofits and ministries in the countries listed above, I would love for you to introduce me to who you know so that I may be able to meet them and serve alongside them!
These are my mandatory deadlines set by Adventures in Missions that I have to meet in order to go on my World Race mission trip. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me reach my first goal of $5,000 with financial support and prayer! I am so grateful and humbled to have received so much love and support, so thank you!
As you can see, my next deadline is to reach $10,000 by December 16th. Woo hoo! We can do this! I am currently at $6,913 and am setting smaller goals to help reach my deadline in December. My next personal goal is to reach $8,000 in November!

To help reach my next goal of $8,000, I have a few different fundraisers I am doing. My cousin, Grace, is helping me raise support by making crochet headbands. They are $15 each ($20 with shipping), come in adult and kid sizes, and I also take custom orders for specific colors that are available. I also only have 3 handmade wood burned necklaces remaining ($15 with shipping). You can purchase these items by clicking the orange Donate button at the top of my blog and then contact me at 770-543-9661 to let me know which item the donation is for.
I am also teaming up with my other cousin, Taylor Land, who is a photographer to do Fall/Christmas Mini Photo Sessions. (As you can tell, my family is very talented!) We will have different chalkboard signs and decor (Christmas trees, pumpkins, etc.) available so you can choose a Fall or Christmas theme for your pictures. The sessions are $75 for 20 minutes, 3 different set ups and 50% of the proceeds will go to my World Race mission trip. The sessions will take place on Saturday, November 19th at my family’s wedding venue: McCrite’s Cottonwood Estate. You can contact me at 770-543-9661 or [email protected] to book your slot!
Lastly, I am looking for opportunities to speak at small groups and churches. I would love to share what the Lord is doing in my life and to also encourage other believers to step out in faith and take risks for the glory of the Kingdom. If you know of any opportunities for me to share about this journey of mine in a group setting, please let me know.
Thank you so much for reading my blog and being a part of my life.
Love you and God Bless!
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
