W O N D E R
This is the song of my heart right now. As God is revealing the space He has created in my heart for more of Him, I can’t help but beg for more. I haven’t had this feeling ever…the feeling of craving so much more, resting in peace, and seeing His light. Literally craving so much more, like I would for chocolate.
So much of my life I have been bogged down by worry, anxiety, my past. Freedom is so beautiful. His wonder and how He has captivated my heart and has brought me to this point-to walk freely and share in that. Some days I wonder am I really this free? For so long I never thought I would have the peace I am having and the joy and the life-He took the lampshade off. He allowed me to walk in the whimsical path He has paved for me. He chases after me. He longs for my heart to follow the whispers of His.
He is speaking in new ways. Fresh ways. Different ways. I feel my heart expanding and having more room, and with more room, we often wonder what to do with it. I am asking Him to fill this new space with W O N D E R. I am asking for my heart to break with His, I want to be moved by what He is moved by and gaze upon Him like a child-seeking after their Daddy.
As we have been venturing through the streets of Chiang Mai, He has been there with me. I have felt His presence and tangible love. I have also felt heart tugs and awkward emotions. I have felt helplessness and hurt. I have seen His light interwoven within. I have gotten to hold more threads of His heart and I am discovering how He wants to weave them into me.
He is beautiful in ALL His ways.
We must never be afraid to simply soak. To rest and be still in Jesus. He longs to woo us into the heavenly rooms of His heart, opening doors of peace, love, and joy to be lavished. He wants to give us every good gift.
It has been my prayer to hear and experience Jesus in new ways. He has answered. He has allowed me to simply sit at His feet and be filled. To woo me with His love. He has spoken to my heart in the sweetest of ways by letting me experience Him. Knowing He has radiated through me, to fill me and be with me. To hold me in times when the world spins but He is constant and wants my heart to rest with His. He is the sweetest of loves.
