I pray you wake up feeling loved today
Relishing in the kind of love that Jesus gives
The meet you right where you are and give you a hug love
The instill in you hope, when you are running out of patience love
The peace that surpasses understanding love
The “I see the awesome in you” without having to prove yourself love
The love that never changes, but over time changes you
He desires that you rest as His beloved
To “be” loved
He desires that He is enough
Because you were enough for Him to die, He purchased you with His life
He desires to take the pieces of you that you believe are never good enough and mold them into the pieces that are tools for the kingdom
He desires you
Not the perfect, once you have everything together you; but the here-and-now, meet you in this moment you
In a world where people are constantly vying for others affection, He simply wants you
To spend time with you
To cherish the ways in which Pappa made Your heart
To not have a formula for everything, but a love that awakens your spirit to life
To love you for you…no strings attached
He doesn’t expect perfection
He adores our efforts to seek Him
He sees them all
And He longs for more “moments” to frame for this love story
The “remember that time we…”
The “look at how we have grown because of…”
I don’t know about you, but I love how Jesus loves me right where I am
I love how He loves the pieces of me that I struggle to love myself
I love how He reminds me that His love is kind, enduring, and tangible
I love how He is rooted in love, for God is love and Jesus is the image of the invisible God-the firstborn of all creation
I love how His love isn’t based on merit but on grace-no striving here, but abiding
His love reaches for you
His love chases you
His love is in the very fibers of the air you breathe
His love woke you up today
So today, I pray you feel loved…because you are.
