This month has been full of letting God take us wherever he wants. Being in different places spiritually and physically are all part of his plan; continually leaning on him for the next step. After much prayer and confirmation, the Lord wanted us to move from our original ministry site early in Kedah and go to Penang an island on the north west coast where 2 other teams were also staying. All due to his reasoning of safety, our new contacts needs and simply trusting in him that he has a plan for everything.
Our ministry this month was slower, prayer walks in the morning around the neighborhood, occasionally going to the local hospital to talk and pray for people, and fellowship with our pastor’s family. Daniel, an 11 year old boy we met through our contact and was able to visit at the hospital has an incredible story about life and his affects on every person he comes in contact with. Daniel and his twin brother were born with many medical issues due to their mother trying to have an abortion but did not succeed. Daniel was told he was never going to be able walk. He can walk. He loves stomping his feet, dancing to music, smiling and giving big hugs. Daniel despite his challenges is so passionate about life and receiving love from others. I did not get to meet Daniel’s brother, he was adopted by a doctor who can take care of his medical needs for his conditions were more severe, but I did get to see Daniel’s family and how they fight and take care of him everyday, which is what our Father does for us every single day, provides for our needs and loves us.

Little did I know this month I would be learning so much more about myself, others and God. He continues to reveal his life to me through listening to his voice and through my team mates. I am so excited he is going to continue to teach us. It is such a great time in my life; grasping his great love for me, accepting that love and in turn living love out through actions. Letting him into our hearts and sincerely surrendering everything over to him; our cares, worries, thoughts, desires, difficulties, our whole life. Everything is for his glory and it has nothing to do with me. I am blessed to have this time to devote myself to him in this way and learn what living that out looks like everyday.
Team Changes took place at the end of Month 3
