It’s a little unreal to me that there are over 50 other people spread out over this country…and a few Canadians…that I will soon be spending the better part of a year with! This Friday I leave for training camp and get to meet my teammates for the first time. To put personalities to their names and faces that so far I’ve only seen through the blogs. I already know though that this is an AMAZING group of Believers that I will soon be able to call my friends and my brothers and sisters! Even though I haven’t met them yet, at our core, we all have the same passion and adventurous spirit that would lead us to lay down everything, pick up a backpack, and follow the Lord around the world for a year!
So, since I will be introduced to my 50+ new teammates in mere days, I wanted to give you all a preview of at least one of them! Let me introduce Kristin McKee to you! Her personality shines through her blog effortlessly, and her passion for the Lord and for people is beautifully evident. Authenticity and the ability to laugh at just about everything life throws at you, are two of the traits I value most in people – and it makes me smile because I see both of those traits in Kristin!
