Fundraising
Currently, I am over halfway to my first goal of $5,000! I can not and will not ever be able to sufficiently thank the people who have chosen to support me financially in this mission. I am humbled by your generosity and your support in the work I will be doing.
Here is a breakdown of my fundraising goals and deadlines:
- $150 Deposit – Due 2 weeks after your acceptance date
- $5,000 – Due 5/13/2016 (Fundraising Goal 1)
- $10,000 – Due 7/22/2016 (Fundraising Goal 2)
- $13,000 – Due 9/30/2016 (Fundraising Goal 3)
- $17,561 – Due 11/30/2016 (Fundraising Goal 4)
So I have broken it down in ways that I am able to wrap my head around what I am asking for:
If 200 people to donate about $72.00, I would be fully funded.
Or…
If 35 people to donate $50.00/month from January – August, I will be fully funded.
Or…
If I can get 1 person to donate $14,000 I would be close to fully funded… 🙂 Just kidding.
But the other ones are real! And when I think about it like that, it feels more attainable.
SO, if you are interested at all in supporting me in the way of money, I would greatly appreciate it but know I will never be able to tell you how much.

Travel
As of now, the countries I will be traveling to are:
Africa – Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Burkina Faso
Asia – India, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand
Central America – El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize
We leave the country in August and will stay in each country for 1 month.
