About me…My name is Tonya Anderson and I am from a very small town in Michigan that will always be my “home”. I have always had a pull to “go”, which I always assumed everyone felt, until my mother informed me that this is not the case 🙂 It wasn’t specific to missions until about 7 years ago. However, I kept putting it off and always thought that I had to do other things like college and career.
I am in the 4th year of that career teaching elementary students but life has brought me full circle once again and I have finally conceded to the calling to go, amen!
I will be leaving behind a great family for the year whom I love. They fully support me which is so comforting. I know that this will be a year full of growth, which can be painful, but I am so looking forward to the opportunity to serve God in a radical way.
