I used to be…

insecure.  self-loathing.  selfish (I still am, but Jesus is changing that slowly but surely).  a cutter.  suicidal. 

blameless.  wholly and dearly loved.  livin’ the dream in light of my Savior’s sacrifice.  a missionary (to Columbia and soon, the nations).  free. 

 

Other random facts:

I grew up a small town called Johnsonville, South Carolina. It’s beautiful.
I’ve been living in Columbia, SC for the past 3 1/2 years while attending the University of South Carolina. 

I’m now a senior PR major and have no idea what I want to do with my life.  But oddly enough, that doesn’t bother me.  

I love people.  To my future teammates, I cannot wait to get to know you. 

I met Jesus almost 7 years ago.  He continuously shows me His mercies and love every day.  It’s beautiful.

I love the homeless, the poor, the broken.  There is something about meeting people on the streets when they are broken that calls to me.

I’m a movie quoter.  

I’m messy.

I love music (current favs:  mewithoutyou, brand new, or any kind of hymn).  

I belong to a beautiful church family. 

 My friends are incredible.   I’m sure you’ll hear more about them as time goes on. 

I have loving, awesome parents and a sister, Traci, who is my best friend.  

I love to travel. 

I like to use words like “krunk” and “jacked.”
