Very soon.
We’ve been gone for almost a year.
We’re excited to come home.
And then Estonia.
Coming home will be so strange.
It will be sad to leave this adventure.
But we aren’t looking forward to being done.
It’s surreal.
We have so much to tell you. There’s so much to share.
God has re-written our stories this year.
And we get the opportunity to tell our supporters all about it!
We’re forever changed.
When we get home, we finally get to see our friends and family again.
It’s been so long—almost a year.
Some live right next door. Others live literally thousands of miles away.
It’s a lot of traveling and sharing after a year of traveling and sharing.
But there’s so much to share.
There’s so much “thanks” to be given.
There’s just one problem:
Immediately after arriving home, we have to get jobs.
You see, we haven’t worked in almost a year.
And The World Race isn’t easy on the wallet.
We want to visit you.
We want to tell you about His works.
His adventures.
His miracles.
His life-changing.
But we can’t.
We have to work to earn money.
And because we have to work, we cannot visit with you, our supporters.
That is, unless we do not have to work right away.
And so, we humbly ask for your help.
We know we’ve asked more times than we can count.
We know we’re probably a nuisance.
But we need your help.
We’re planning out our summer to visit our family and friends.
We’re planning our summer to share with our supporters exactly what their donations have done this past year.
We’re trusting that He is going to provide the way to do that.
We’re trusting that we’ll be able to carry out our plans.
And to be honest, we need to rest! We’re unbelievably exhausted.
But it’s been worth every minute.
We’re in the process of seeking youth ministry jobs for Jeremy around the country.
We’ve sent out applications and resumes, and we’re eagerly waiting to see where God leads us.
It’s an exciting time of waiting and trusting.
It’s not all about traveling, though.
You see, just because we don’t have money doesn’t mean our bills stop.
When we get home, things have to get done.
The cell phone bill needs to be paid.
The car has to be insured.
Meals need to be bought.
Gas needs to be purchased.
Health insurance is a must.
Etc.; Etc.
And so we say we need your help.
We’re asking one last time for you to come alongside us and support us financially.
We’re asking for you to help us make it possible to visit our family and our friends.
We’re asking for you to make it possible to drive to job interviews and your houses.
We’re asking you to help us pay for some of the essentials until God leads us to a job.
You have no idea how much we appreciate everything you’ve done for us.
We say it a lot, but we’re eternally grateful to you.
We want to see you and tell you face-to-face.
If you are able to help in this way, thank you!
