Himalayan Mountains. Mt. Everest. 2nd tallest bungee jumping in the world. Nepalese culture. Need I say more?

We've been in Kathmandu, Nepal for over a week now! I have to admit, amongst all my past worldly traveling, this is most certainly the most beautiful place I have ever seen. As we flew into what would be our home for the next month, I was speechless. I almost caught myself a few times not breathing because I couldn't believe how gorgeous Nepal is. And to think, we're only in the city! The minute I stepped off the plane I was in love. Everything about this country, that we've experienced so far, is outstanding. The people are overjoyed to see us, the culture is unique and beautiful, and the Christians have a passion and love for Jesus like none we've ever seen before. It's breathtaking.

Our contact for this month, Megh, is a guy that not only loves Jesus more than anything, but leads treks to Mt. Everest!! He's a little man, 100 lbs at most, but he's one of the most fantastic people, and we have come to love him dearly.

This month our ministry is "evangelism". So far that's meant preaching in prayer meetings services, praying for church members, and pulling weeds out of gardens. It gives us much time to get a team, though. Last month left us with little time to come together as a team. This month is quite the opposite.

Nepal has, in every way, captivated me. It's a place I could sincerely see myself living one day.

And if you're wondering, yes, we are probably going to see Mt. Everest while we're here. There's a flight we can take that literally flies us right over top of the mountain. We're in Nepal, after all!!
