The time has come. Our bags are packed, all our goodbyes have been said, and we are sitting in a hotel in Washington D.C. waiting to begin the most epic adventure of our lives. We've had since the end of September to prepare for this, and now it's here. Our first destination: India. We fly out Thursday. Almost $27,000 has been raised so far, with very little left to be raised. He's so good to us. So, so good.
This doesn't seem real, all of these blessing. It doesn't seem real that we are about to leave America for a year. It doesn't seem real that we are about to take on the world for Jesus. The world–for Jesus. What an honor this is. So many emotions, feelings, worries, blessings, thank yous, and so much more have gone into preparation for the World Race. So much has been prayed over, thought through, spoken and unspoken, cried over, payed for, and considered. And it's finally here. We can't believe it's finally here. The World Race is finally here.
Our year is as follows:
July– India
August– Nepal
September– Thailand
October- Challenge: Asia
November– Cambodia
December– Vietnam
January– Rwanda
February– Uganda
March– Kenya
April– Latvia
May– Estonia/Lithuania
We're also incredibly nervous.
Nevertheless, we cannot wait to get this adventure started.
Jesus is so good.
Thank you for everything you've done for us! We are so appreciative for it all, and wouldn't be where we are today if it wasn't for all of you in our lives.
WORLD RACE, HERE WE COME!
