First off,
I’M FULLY FUNDED!!!

This is me doing my “fully funded/birthday/last day of school” dance!
God is absolutely amazing! I remember 1 year ago saying “Okay, $17,000, this is kind of a big number, but if the Lord is willing there’s nothing that could stand in the way of that.” Today I stand confident in faith that anything is possible with God, especially after seeing the ways He’s provided.
I can’t find words to describe how grateful I am to my supporters. Thank you for believing in me, thank you for believing in God’s fruition. To everyone who is praying for me while I’m on the Race, I feel every bit of it, even being halfway across the world.
Without your support, prayers, and God’s will none of this would have been possible!
On another note,
Today, January 20th, I turned 22 years old! 🙂 I spent it with my team I’ve been with for all of this month, Team Petra. We had different teams for this month, where all the girls were on all girls teams and all the men were together on one big team. This month is called Wo(Manistry) month.
Anyway, back home birthdays are a big thing. To be honest though I was grateful to just have a loving team that surrounded me. Well, little did I know I wasn’t prepared for even half of what the day had unfolded to be.
Filled with countless “Happy Birthday” wishes, love/life giving hand drawn cards, surprise plans, delicious food, 3 cakes, amazing community, laughs/smiles/love, and so much more! My hosts said to me “We know that it must be hard being far away from your family, especially on your birthday. We wanted to come around you and let you know that we’re your Cambodian family, and we’re here to celebrate and love you.”

Over all this is birthday I will never forget! Thank you so much Hendrika, Ashley, Sherese, Marianna, Alyssa and my new Cambodian family for making this day so incredibly special!!! 🙂
