Dear friends and
supporters,

God is so good
to give the rain!! Here in Cornesti Moldova and the surrounding area,
they have had no rain for over a month, maybe 6 weeks, and it
has the whole region on edge, with crops and all livelihood hanging by a thin
thread of life before they fail and collapse without the 1 basic element of
life on this planet. Our first day here, we prayed together in the forest, and
I received a vision, along with someone else’s about the Walls of Jericho,
about the number 7. As a number that represents completion in the Bible, I felt
God calling me to corral this team of 7 people to pray 7 times a day for 7
days, and then God would bless the community with both the gift of life in rain
water, and the gift of Kingdom transformation in the Spirit, the “reign” of
God. We prayed and prayed, definitely more than 7 times a day, both alone and
as a team and as a church, and literally everyday, God brought more and more
clouds. Each day, without fail, there were more and bigger clouds in the sky,
and on day 5 and 6, there was actually a little bit of rain, more on the 6
th than the 5th. Then, on the 7th day, today, God poured out
His blessing and the rain came flowing from Heaven, blessing the dry and
parched land and restoring hope that God is the sole provider of all that is
good, all that we need in this life and the next. Whats more, we were so
thankful for the rain God brought on the 7th day, but this was still
not enough to quench the huge thirst of this weary land and people, which led
us to believe and pray for God to bless more, to unleash His abundant gifts on
this place. Today, on the 10th day, God brought an amazing
outpouring of rain, a massive storm that healthily flooded the streets and made
everyone’s heart leap for joy and thankfulness to the Lord. Never in my life
have I been so happy to see a rainstorm! My team all went outside and yelled
and danced and thanked God… we may have also took a shower and washed our
clothes from the rain spout/gutter from the building where we live
J

 I
believe now, the reign of Spirit will follow as we continue to preach the
Gospel and share God’s love through acts of service and sacrifice in this
place, in this mission. Please pray for us my friends. We need the Lord to
continue to show and reveal His power and love for this people, to encourage
them to find the eternal hope for this life and the next that is waiting for
them in Christ.

Please write to me if you have any word of
encouragement or prayer, and if there is anything you can do to help this
mission… there are so many needs, but we know God is the ultimate provider, as
He has shown with the rain!

Multzumesc (Thank you in Romanian)!

God bless you always,

Tommy
