What?! one more month?
Yea, I have one more month to raise the remaining amount in order to be fully funded for the World Race. Feb 1st is our deadline and I need about $3800 to reach that goal.
There have been many of you who have given one time gifts and monthly gifts. Thank you so much and I want you to know that I will truly be thankful for years to come.
These past 5 months have taught me a lot so far, and I look forward to the next 6 months of what the Lord has for me. Not sure what that is but I trust He will get the monies in that are needed to carry me through this journey.
Currently I have learned how to …
- wield a machette,
- Harvest Tapioca,
- ride in many different forms of transportation that would bring law suites in America,
- Preach at a moments notice,
- Play charades with many different people to learn where things are located,
- try to say hello in different languages and fumbling like crazy,
- be patient as the internet is not reliable around the world,
- and see that pride is something that needs to be broken many times in my life.
Funny, I would have thought I had learned what I am learning now, back when I was younger. However, now tha t I am 36 (and proud of being the oldest on my squad), I see that I still have more to learn. thank you all for your patience with me as well as your investment in me.
