The World Race is so much more than a missions trip. It’s my greatest journey, my hardest challenge, and will end up being the greatest adventure I’ve ever taken, all wrapped up in one amazing opportunity. As with anything worth doing in this life, I can’t do it alone. First and foremost I would ask that you please take a moment to pray for me. Whether now or later, the best support system I have is the prayers of fellow believers. “…the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” James 5:16. While most of us would consider ourselves to be far from righteous, we are God’s children and he eagerly desires for us to communicate our thoughts to him. I am asking for your prayers because I truly believe that we are all one body, under Christ, and I can do nothing without the support of you all. Please pray for strength and wisdom for me as I embark on the World Race and ask that God will provide the necessary funds for me to do so. I ask that you pray for my fellow team members as well and that we will all be willing and able to be used for the purpose God has called us to. Now comes the not so fun part of asking for support so I’ll keep this part brief. I will need to raise roughly $16,500 for the World Race to cover all the expenses of the trip.
