Meet Roy Gonzales:

He was born in Costa Rica, but now resides in Panama City with his lovely wife. He worked for Billy Graham in the states for a long time until he decided to break off and move to Panama. His move to Panama was influenced by his now lovely wife.

Because of his past career working with Billy Graham, he has made a ton of connections with missionaries/missions groups/and people all over the world. He said, “I can pretty much pick up the phone and call someone to help me if I needed it in any country.”

Hearing his heart and passion for Jesus was amazing. He loved the fact that the world race was nondenominational, because he believed that we all serve the same God, so there shouldn’t be any fighting amongst the Methodists and Baptists for example. Instead he believes we should be unified to become stronger, and he likes that the world race does unify Christians.

He also said that it frustrates him when people don’t do anything with their faith. He said, “they are just like a balloon that keeps getting inflated. They go to church and learn, but then they don’t ever deflate and spread that knowledge, hope, and help to others.” He believes that “churches are a training place to spread the great commission.”

He was a very honest man who was very passionate about Jesus and putting feet to his faith.

He works with Christ for the City, which helps students to stay in school. Before Christ for the City was established, 50 percent of students would have to drop out, because their parents couldn’t afford it and they would need their kids to go out on the streets to beg for money. But with this organization, it provides money for kids to go to school and stay in school instead of on the streets.

Roy also has a separate ministry that AIM would probably most likely partner up with. As I said, he has many contacts all over the world, so he would be a great uber contact to help find churches and people that need help with their ministry. His separate ministry is called Go Ministries.

Check him out! He is pretty legit!
