Pentecost, also known as Shavuot or the Feast of Weeks commemorates the giving of the Torah to the Israelite people at Mount Sinai.

God's timing of things has a certain rhythm to it, that is fascinating to behold.

He rescues Israel on Passover, and then 50 days later He gives them the Torah at Pentecost.

Jesus dies and is resurrected for the salvation of the world on Passover. (He was crucified at 9 a.m. and died at 3 p.m, which are the two times that two lambs were sacrificed daily at the temple)

50 days later the Holy Spirit falls on the church at Pentecost.  A fulfillment of the Torah being written on our hearts (Jeremiah 31:33)?

All this to say Training Camp starts on May 18th, and May 19th is Pentecost.  I can't help but think that means something.
