Muna is one of the many sweet family members I had the opportunity to live with this month in Nepal. She is 14 years old and lives with her uncle and aunties family because her dad passed away and her mom is mentally ill and not able to care for her well. Even through all of the struggles she has faced, she is full of joy, she smiles all the time. When I asked her where her joy comes from, she told me she gets it from God.
Psalm 90:14 Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Even though her English is not perfect and I didn’t know any Nepali, We would just hang out and laugh. Sometimes just making silly faces at each other. I put together a short video of Muna so you can just see the joy she has for life. The joy that she gets from God!
I love the entire family that I got to share life with this past month in Nepal and I already miss them so much.
