So as most of you know last month I injured my left ankle and my right knee playing soccer in Romania. My knee is doing great at healing, the scab is almost gone and the scar is looking pretty good.

My ankle is taking its time healing but I’m able to walk, stairs are still hard to walk down and running and jumping are not back in the mix yet, but I am thinking they will be soon.

This month we are not in the Ukraine like we thought we were going to be, last month we were told that instead of going to the Ukraine we would be going to Moldova and then at the end of last month we found out that we would actually be in a place called Transnistria it’s a country within Moldova that considers itself a separate country, while the rest of the world doesn’t recognize it as a country. They have their own government and currency and you have to stop at the border and get your passport stamped. It’s a town that still has plenty of signs of its past communist ties. From the vehicles, to the monuments, to even the soldiers walking up and down the streets.

We are working with a church again this month and are living on their construction site for their new church/ family center.

My team of girls is living this month with two other girls’ teams, making 22 of us in one big room.
one squatty potty and 2 wonderful outdoor showers.

The Ministry this month is teaching English classes and construction work, the first week we had a crazy long schedule because one of the three teams left for a week of English camp, soo we had breakfast at 7:30am construction from 8am-1pm then lunch at 1:30pm and then English classes from 5:30-10:30pm .Not much down time last week but it really has made me appreciate my down time this week. As all three teams are back at the construction site.

I am soo thankful for what now feels like extra down time,  to recover mentally and physically.

During construction we are working on anything they ask us too but right now its mostly leveling out big piles of dirt and bricks. And other times it chipping mortar off of bricks to be re-used for the building of the church in the future.

Please be in prayer for all the people we are meeting and getting to have conversations with at the English classes and on the construction site.

Special prayers for Viera who is our Grandma for the month who is giving of her time to cook our meals for us and for the construction workers.

I will be posting a video as soon as I get enough wifi time to upload the video …lol
