Hannah and I were married three years ago this month.  We have worked hard to build “the American Dream.”  We both have good jobs, a nice home, cars and a dog.  The only thing we are missing is the white picket fence and we could potentially be the model American Dreamers.  The only problem is that we feel like we have been sold a lie.  We recently have come to understand that the American Dream may not be God’s dream for our lives.

Since returning from Africa in November of 2011, God has been breaking our hearts for the lost, broken and abused.  With a passion beginning to burn inside of us, we researched mission opportunities.  We believe that God purposefully guided our search to Adventures In Missions and The World Race.  If you are new to our blog and this mission trip, The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries around the world.  Our race will travel to:

Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam/Laos, Tanzania, Mozambique, Swaziland, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Moldova, Romania, and Ireland.

In September, Hannah and I will embark on this incredible journey with God.  By choosing the road less traveled, we will be leaving behind the American Dream…and we couldn’t be happier!!
