Our ministry in Haiti was an amazing experience. God brought us to an incredible place of need and broke our hearts for the lost, broken and abused. Here are a few pictures from our time in Haiti.
Every day, members of our teams stayed back at the mission compound to cook food for the teams and staff. We were shocked by how much work cooking involved. The Hatian ladies cooked over charcoal and made everything from scratch…including daily homemade bread.

Our primary ministry was helping to rebuild a structure that was destroyed in the earthquake. We spent hours every work day disassembling the concrete forms used to construct the building. The Haitians will reuse all the lumber we disassembled to build the forms for the third story of the building.
Hannah had everything under control and worked like a champion the entire month.
Another task we had for the month was to clean and paint a new pre-school room (it had formerly been a storage shed). Our teams decided to paint it with a Noah's ark theme. We loved the finished building.
Several times over the course of the month, we traveled to Hands and Feet orphanage to minister to the orphans. They were incredible and could beat our socks off at soccer. For all you christian music fans, Hands and Feet was started by some of the members of the band Audio Adrenaline.
I was given an opportunity to preach during an english service at the church we were helping. I am here with the pastor of the church who is translating into Creole for the Haitians. It was quite the experience. Preaching takes on a whole new complexion when you have to work with a translator.
On Wednesday afternoons, we would go into a local villiage and put on a program for the kids. They loved it!! We did skits, played games, gave a brief message and gave out candy.
One of the kids' favorite games was "Chicken, chicken, pig." We call it "Duck, duck, goose." Here is Hannah taking off after a very fast boy!
Thank you for your love and support. We could not be taking God's Kingdom to the nations without you. God bless you!
