Hey Everyone! Sorry you have not heard from me in a bit. Here is what is going on here on the far side of the World.
Well we are here in the jungle in Thailand having an awesome time, just us men this month, sweating buckets every day working on a building, swimming in the lake, petting tigers, climbing mountains, getting picked up by elephants, cutting down and chopping up banana trees to feed the cows, sleeping in basically a tree house loft type thing (it’s awesome), growing closer as brothers and to God… Pretty much an all around amazing time.
I will have a lot to tell about this month soon but internet is kinda scarce and I have not had a whole lot of time to write just yet so please bare with me. I have more great pics too and will get them up as soon as I have good internet for my computer but anyway… Know that God is doing amazing things in my life, the life of my teammates, and the people here in Thailand!
We only have two months left on the race now and we hit Vietnam next so please be in prayer for us for that. I also have some exciting news about what the Lord is doing in my life and what He is calling me to next. I am excited to tell that I will be heading out with the World Race again in September/October for about 4 months as a Squad Leader. This is a role of helping out, mentoring, and decipling a new squad of missionaries headed out for work around the world sharing the Love of Jesus Christ and growing God’s Kingdom. I am humbled by this calling and I know that it is a huge coat for me to be putting on. I have learned though to jump at these opportunities when the Lord gives them because this Race has taught me that the biggest, most exciting, and most amazing things happen when we step out into things that we are not capible of without God.
I am so greatful for all of the support that I have had on this journey and that I know will come as I continue in what the Lord has called me to. I am so thankful to all of you who have supported me so faithfully already and I ask you humbly to start to pray about continueing to support me in this new calling as I will have to raise a bit more money. I am confident that the Lord will provide all my needs for what He is calling me to do. Please remember that your prayers are the biggest thing I need and I know that God has moved through them already and will continue to do so. Thank You! I will be keeping you informed as to all the details as they develope.
