Dearest friends, family, supporters,
and anyone who may have just stumbled across my blog,
writing this today to express a need. As many of you know, I am
working as a missionary for Adventures in Missions. My role is
unique. While not currently based in a foreign land and not preaching
everyday, I am filling a vital role that the Lord has appointed for
me at this time, and I know that what I do is an important part ofthe functioning body of Christ.
of our office in Gainesville GA, finding and communicating with
ministry partners in eight countries on three continents. I make
logistical arrangements for teams in our World Race and Real Life
missions programs, placing them with contacts in the field where they
work to reach people with hope, love, and helping hands. See an

I am
also a leader, teacher, and discipler for one of our squads (61
people) of World Race Missionaries currently in the field. I
travelled to them in Kenya last week to give them teaching and
support, and I will do so again by travelling to them in India in
August. (pictured left, one of my Racers in ministry in Cambodia)
Support raising is not my strength, but I so believe
in what the Lord has called me to do that I am asking you to consider
being a part of it as well. My responsibilities are full time work,
and seeing the fruit of changed lives is what keeps me going.
is my current need-
intercede for me and AIM and what we are doing for God’s people
around the world as the enemy is aware of us and battles us
constantly in many different ways. Neither I nor ministries such as
this can find the Lord’s path to effectiveness without the power
and blessing of the Lord. Thank you for praying. “The prayers of a
righteous man accomplish much.”
SECOND, I have a need for
FINANCIAL SUPPORT. In order to live and pay the bills while working
here I, like all of the missions staff here at AIM, receive a SUPPORT
BASED paycheck. It amounts to about $15,600 a year which, with the
favor of the Lord, provides for my needs. In order to receive this
paycheck we must have the support in our accounts. If not, we are not
able to be paid. I am in this situation. In addition to my salary
need, I will have the expense of $1370 for the airfare to fulfill my
leadership role in India. With the pay period due in five days, the
need to buy my ticket to India ASAP to avoid fare increases, and my
support account at $135, I need $740 by this Tuesday and the money
for the plane ticket as soon as possible.
I am confident the
Lord can provide for these needs. If many are involved financially,
the burden is not too great for any one person. Pray and ask the Lord
if He would have you do this and what He might lay on your heart to
donate for this work. I respect the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Option: Many supporters have found monthly donations to be a great
way to give without creating a huge one time hit to the
checkbook.
