Gypsy: a member of a race of people originally from northern India who typically used to travel from place to place, and now live especially in Europe and North America
Now that we know what the definition of a gypsy is, let me tell you a little more. Many of the Gypsies in Romania end up homeless as an escape from being physically, mentally, and sexually abused. They fight and even attempt to kill each other for places to live even if they are abandoned
Pictured below is Uriel and his girlfriend Eurika. The have become clean from drugs in order to better their lives. They help out at the church and it has become a blessing for them.
The following pictures are the abandoned rooms that Uriel and other homeless people live in.
We were ask to help Uriel clean up the area because he wants to better his living situation.
The amount of trash is outrageous and they don’t have a bathroom so there is feces scattered everywhere. Very very unhealthy.
Above is the start of us cleaning up the area with Uriels help and below is a picture of the finished product. Well for now.
It was so great to be able to help them out and show them how much better it is to take care of what you have. Uriel was inspired to continue cleaning and was very excited to show us where they live and how clean their actual room was. It’s very terrible to see that people actually live like this and so many people don’t even care to help.
