Upon the conclusion of our last squad debrief until final debrief (which is crazy), we departed Hyderabad to take an overnight bus (10:30pm-7am) down to Bangalore. Upon arriving, we stored our bags in a hotel room for the day while we hit up an amazing large mall, where we were able to effectively pretend we were back in America for the day. We got some Taco Bell for lunch, hit up a move (Rio 3D), and grabbed a slice of Sbarro pizza before heading back to the hotel. We pick up our bags and went back to the bus station, where we quickly learn we have just missed our bus. In typical World Race panic mode, we load up a few rickshaws and manage to chase down the bus at the next stop, where we are miraculously able to load up and head on another overnight bus to the southern tip of India (6:30pm-8am). Just another day on the World Race.
We are staying with a pastor and his family here, and are looking forward to a month of preaching at this and various other branch churches in the area, as well as other engagements including a bible college and children’s camps. We’re excited about everything this month has to offer, in terms of external ministry as well as continued growth together as a team. Not looking at the most consistent internet access of the race, but I’ll do my best to keep the updates coming. As always, appreciate your continued prayers and support!
