So, I’ve got this friend Tara. She’s pretty amazing. Has a heart so big that I’m not sure how it doesn’t burst out of her chest. Kids see her and are immediately comfortable and laughing, when all it takes is one smile from me to get most kids to burst into tears. She’s an absolutely crucial member of our team, and I can’t imagine these last 5 1/2 months, or the next, without her.
With that in mind, Tara is the only member on our team that is still not fully funded. In this, however, God has given the other 4 of us on the team an incredible opportunity to mobilize our supporters back home to get our entire team completely in the clear to finish the race without another thought to finances. She’s about $5000 from the final amount, but we have faith that we can knock this out once and for all, in one day of fundraising fury.
