My name is Tim Zimmerman, I grew up on the Mission Field to parents who followed God’s call on their lives. I wouldn’t trade the experiences I had there for anything and I want to be used by God wherever He leads.
A year and a half ago I had the wonderful privilege and opportunity to go to Uganda as a part of a small team from Asbury University through World Gospel Mission. Kampala, Uganda was the city we were in. We were working with World Gospel Mission missionaries and a group of students from local universities. We got to be involved in evangelism, hosting talk back sessions with local university students and doing a V.B.S. for kids from a local police barracks. God used that trip to open my eyes to His work being done all over the world.
Since graduation and returning from Uganda, I have done a variety of jobs in a variety of places. It has been a time of waiting and trying to follow what God has for me. It hasn’t been the easiest thing, but then again what’s to say life is easy. But I have never lost the feeling and desire that I need to go back overseas In the past few weeks God has opened an opportunity for me to be a part of a team travelling to several different countries doing many ministries. We will be working alongside local churches and organizations; what we do will differ from country to country. God has adventures in store for those who follow His lead. I want to be a part on this adventure and I pray that you’ll join me on this journey.
