I know that an event doesn't come close to experiencing the culture of actually traveling to another country, but I recently had the opportunity to help out the international students at Bemidji State University with their 43rd annual Festival of Nations.
Students from countries around the globe gathered to host an event consisting of music, dance, fasion and of course lots of food from their home countries.
I was able to to try food from Vietnam, India, Nepal and Malaysia… which are just a few of the countries that I will be traveling to in the months to come.
